Fully integrated system combines a centrifugal evaporator and vacuum pump in a single unit. Evaporation chamber is constructed from a single piece of heavy gauge stainless steel making it corrosion and chemical resistant. Motor is magnetically coupled to the rotor, isolating the internal mechanism from the moisture and volatile organics that may be released during evaporation. Built in membrane pump requires no oil. Solid Teflon pump heads eliminate cracking, peeling, and corrosion associated with a Teflon coated head. Sandwich design of the rotors ensures easy cleaning and decontamination. High capacity rotor accommodates twenty-four 1.5 mL tubes and forty eight 0.5 mL tubes. Optional rotor accommodates forty eight 1.5 mL tubes.
