    Description

TWO VINTAGE GAS STATION POSTCARDS STANDARD OIL AND GULF OIL
This is two vintage postcards showing a Standard Oil gas station and a linen card of a Gulf station. Both cards are unposted and in excellent condition with no tears, bends, or unusual wear. You are bidding on two cards for one price.
The Gulf linen card was published between 1930 and 1945 while the Standard Station card would be a little later. Of course the watermark on the cards is not on the actual cards and is there only for Ebay display.
These postcards were purchased at a Nebraska estate auction and we guarantee them to be original and
    NOT REPRODUCTIONS.
This is a nice set and if you collect vintage postcards of Americana this would make a great addition to your collection.
FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE WAY EBAY AUTOMATIC BIDDING WORKS, HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:
Suppose you want an item that has no bids and the bidding starts at .50 and the most you want to pay is .00.
    1. You immediately bid .00. eBay keeps this amount hidden so no one knows what it will take to make them top  bidder.
    2. eBay takes your bid and bids .50 for you putting you at the top.
    3. The next day someone else bids .00.
    4. They are top bidder for less than a second because eBay instantly bids .50 for you to make you top again.
    5. This happens every time someone outbids you right up to the point when they bid more than your .
95% of people bidding on my items wait until the last 5 seconds to try to sneak a bid in and get the item.
What they don't realize is that if you have used the method I just described and unless they bid higher than that hidden amount you placed days ago, eBay will always outbid them for you down to the last half second.  The beauty of this method is that you can be somewhere else when your item goes off and still win it.
