    Description

    Offered here together are 4 different service station, gasoline refinery, motor oil advertising premium items made between the 1940's and 1950's - give or take. First is a spinning top. It appears to be tin, with a celluloid printed surface. (Like an old pin back button) The red dowel, in the center, looks to be made of wood. It reads; "DERBY - DERBY REFINING CO....PERTOLEUM PRODUCTS." It measures 1 & 1/2 inch wide. The condition is VERY GOOD. The underside has a bit of surface rust, but the top surface, with the advertising, is very clean. Next is a tin pin. It reads: "SOVEREIGN SERVICE" and has 2 open areas. One marked: "OIL CHANGED" and the other marked: "GREASED." Something was hand written in these areas, but the writing is mostly rubbed away. The pin measures just over 1 & 1/2 inch wide. It is in FAIR condition, and has been bent near the center. Next is an UNUSED coupon book. One side reads: "MOTHER PENN All Purpose MOTOR OIL...Dryer, Cark & Dryer Oil Co." The booklet is full and has dozens of coupons from 2 cents to 50 cents. Last is a Bridge tally sheet or score card. The booklet has several sheets and is unused. The cover reads: "AMERICAN AMOCO GAS...AMERICAN OIL COMPANY." Inside, the top of each page pictures an AMOCO & AMERICAN glass gas pump globe. The booklet is in EXCELLENT condition. You will get all 4 of these items which are guaranteed to be old & original or your money back.
